Yamato Corporation is a Japanese registered and licensed general contractor that is veteran owned. We are registered in SAM and have been executing Federal contracts on US military facilities in Japan for over 16 years.
Our bilingual staff is fully versed with all aspects of contract execution including requirement assessment, labor and material estimating, parts procurement, subcontracting local skills, scheduling, safety management, documentation, and on-site supervision.
We operate as both a prime contractor directly under base contracting offices as well as a subcontractor serving the needs of Japanese and U.S.-based corporations needing assistance in carrying out contracts in Japan. Our Location
Our main offices are located in the Takahara District of Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. We are about 10 minutes from Kadena Air Base, Camps Foster, S.D. Butler, or Shields, and about 15-20 minutes from Torii Station, MCAS Futenma, and Camp Kinser. Camps Schwab and Hansen are a 25-minute drive on the expressway. In addition to our main office, we have equipment and storage yards in several other areas of the island.
